Install XenServer Tools

XenServer Tools, the XenServer paravirtualization tools, provide high speed I/O for enhanced disk and network performance. XenServer Tools must be installed for each virtual machine (Windows and Linux) in order to be able to use the xe CLI or XenCenter, and VM performance will be significantly lowered unless the tools are installed.   Without the tools installed, you will not be able to do any the following: Cleanly shut down, reboot or suspend a VM. Citrix XenApp: Controlling disconnected sessions

The TS ICA session manager supports auto-disconnecting the sessions that are in disconnected state. This setting can configured at below location: Start-> Administrative tools-> Terminal Services Configuration -> Connections -> ICA TCP Properties -> Override user settings -> Disconnect from session. Ideally you don’t require to force disconnect the session running in disconnected state, but should you need you can control it now.
