Symptoms
The functioning of the Internet Explorer degrades in the following scenario:
- When Internet Explorer is streamed to the client computer
- When the Citrix Single Sign-on agent is running on the client
Cause
By design, when an Internet Explorer is streamed to the client computer, it is unable to communicate with a locally installed instance of Citrix Single Sign-on agent.
Resolution
To resolve the preceding issue, create a rule to ignore named objects in the Internet Explorer profile.
To create a rule, complete the following procedure:
- Open the streamed Internet Explorer profile by using the Citrix Streaming Profiler for Windows.
- Right-click the Operating System and select Properties, as shown in the following screen shot:
- In the Target Properties dialog box, select Rules.
- Click Add, on the right-hand side of the dialog box.
- In the New Rule dialog box, select the Ignore option in the Action section.
- Select the Named Objects option in the Object section.
- Click Next.
- In the Select Objects dialog box, select All named Objects.
- Click Next.
- In the Name Rule dialog box, specify a name for the rule.
- Click Finish.
- Save the profile to the network profile directory.
