Scenario:
All of sudden, you start noticing that Windows Live writer fails to upload images files in the new posts or while updating the existing posts. This trigger even without any changes to your blog or Live writer installation.
Troubleshooting:
You ensure:
- The images are of either .jpeg or .png that worked previously
- Images are of not too large in size
- use other image upload add-ins like Polaroid
- there is no “Link To” or any other image Link settings configured in Live writer
- you allow Live writer to update the blog theme and it completes successfully
But still you are left with the same error message reporting all image files in your article and they never gets published.
Solution:
In my case, I attempted to upload the files manually to by blog disk space and then realized there is NO room left to accept the new file creations. I made some free disk space and then Live writer was able to successfully upload images and publish them to my blog articles.
