Disable MSN Messenger from Auto Starting during Windows Startup or User Logon

  1. Sign on to windows live messenger
  2. Click the down arrow that lets you select online, busy, away, etc.
  3. Go to the bottom and select "More options"
  4. Go to “Sign in” section
  5. Choose the "General" tab
    4. Uncheck the box beside, "Start Messenger when I log on to my computer”
    5. Click the ‘Apply’ button
