Issue: Google Play Store Application Doesn’t start–or- Fail to Launch–or- Crashes on Startup
Symptoms: Application flashes upon startup and doesn’t launch
Causes: One of the Play Store dependent application is not running on the device
Fix: The most often happening case is that “Download Manager” is disabled.
Go to Settings –> Application Manager –> All tab . Scroll to the bottom. Download Manager was disabled. I just enabled it.
Troubleshooting:
- Restart the Device
- Clearing the Google Play Store Application Cache “Settings–> Applications–> Manage–> "All" tab–> Google Play Store–> Clear Data”
- Disable and Enable Google Play Store Application “Settings–> Applications–> Manage–> "All" tab–> Google Play Store—> Enable/Disable”
