Summary
When using the Access Management Console after a fresh installation or an upgrade, when you run discovery, the discovery task completes but does not show the Xenapp farm. The Access Management Console might display other notes but not the farm. The problem is attributed to a bad .NET install.

Procedure
When using Citrix Xenapp 4.5 or 5.0 for Windows 2003, the latest version is Access Management Console 4.7.x. The installation information for the same is available in Knowledge Center article CTX126734 – Delivery Services Console 4.7.2 – English .
When using Xenapp 5.0 for Windows 2008 or later releases, the latest version is Access Management Console 5.0.x. The installation information for the same is available in Knowledge Center article CTX121501- Access Management Console 5.0.2 – English.
More Information
Access Management Console starting in version 5.0.1 is recoded to include provisions for 64-bit. Versions 4.7 do not contain the 64-bit constraint that prevents correct usage with Xenapp 4.5 version.
