Symptoms

When launching an application you receive the following error:

"Checking your credentials…"

"To log on to this remote computer, you must have Terminal Server User Access permissions on this computer. By default, members of the Remote Desktop Users group have these permissions. If you are not a member of the Remote Desktop Users group or another group that has these permissions, or if the Remote Desktop User group does not have these permissions, you must be granted these permissions manually."

Cause

The published application contains a beginning or trailing space within the Access Management Console. Notice the # sign preceding the application name in the first screen shot above.

To verify this scenario, publish another application name to the same server and to the same user. The application should launch.

Resolution

Remove the beginning or trailing space within the application name.

More Information

If the last character of an application’s browser name (the application name as shown in the console) is a blank space, you cannot delete the application from the console.
