The new repackaging tool should support below features/options in order to fulfill our repackaging requirements and practices.

1. Snapshot capturing technology for
   1. 32-bit, 64-bit and Mixed 32-bit/64-bit applications on Windows 7 x64-bit platforms
   2. 32-bit applications on Windows XP SP2
2. Project/Feature level management of features/settings like
   1. File and Folders
   2. Registry
   3. Shortcuts
   4. Services
   5. File Associations and MIME types
   6. Environment Variables
   7. INI Files
   8. ODBC DSNs/settings
3. Setup Editor/Organization features like
   1. Combined view at Feature level (Features tab in Setup Editor of WPS)
   2. Feature bound and overall Components view
   3. MSI table view
   4. Easy to create Properties
4. Ability to create all standard custom actions
5. Tranforms creation
6. Ability to assign custom permissions on Files and Registry
7. Ability to create Uncompressed .msi files and rebuild Uncompressed files
8. Uncompressed file structure should closely resemble application installation file structure
9. Easy to operate GUI, particularly with Files and Registry sections to ease their cleanup
10. Option to control redistributables/merge modules detection (leaving respective files, registry just as files & registry entries instead of bundled redistributables)
11. Repository building to support Conflict Checking and Versioning.
12. Round the clock 24×5 hrs support
13. Default exclusions supports
