- Download the “Install OS X Mountain Lion.app” from Apple Store
- Open the Terminal and execute below command: “hdiutil makehybrid -iso –hfs /Applications/Install OS X Mountain Lion.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg -o MountainLion.iso”
- Then open the Finder and locate the newly create ISO
- Mount a Networked location as smb share and get connected to the share
- Now, copy over your newly create ISO to the share central location that you can access anytime or have safely backed up
