How to recruit better talents

Below are few of my thoughts (in order of their importance), I have for accelerating the recruitment process in fulfilling engineering talents. 

  1. In detail analyzed talent/skill set that you are looking for fulfilling a particular position. You may want to discuss and update it with clear specific skill set.  With this recruitment at team level becomes faster as we all know what to look for and what to test for.
  2. Closely review the profiles to make the best match, expand or update the skill set accordingly based on the volume of responses.
  3. Hiring people of similar culture/environment experience – most of the local professional rely on Indian job portals listed below, advertising our requirements there can fetch more results

    2. http://www.monsterindia.com/
  4. Professional networking via Social Media – www.linkedin.com – Currently I don’t see any of our openings posted in Linkedin. 
    1. We should post our jobs on LinkedIN and
    2. Would be more effective, if someone can search, find and follow up with matching LinkedIn profiles (I often see large organizations doing this to find right local talents)
  5. Advertising via company Careers website page
