Calling card is a card that provides you a number to which you can call from any phone (public/private/landline/mobile) in the country you bought it, then you’ll be asked to enter the passcode once validated you can make any call (local/STD/ISD) from that call.
Example: You travelling to US so you bought a US calling card. Below are the steps you’ll follow to make calls to India
- If you are in a hotel, you need first dial its outgoing code (say 9)
- Then dial the calling card number (say 954 323 0122)
- Then you’ll be prompted to enter the pass code, (say 6108 8684 1634)
- Then you’ll be asked to dial the destination number, in case of ISD use ISD code (say 0091 9667365523)
