This is a one of the option to be filled in for various govt. jobs. This question is asking you whether you belong to Minority Religions. The recognized minority religions in India are Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Zoroastrian.

If you have caste certificate that states you belong to one of Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Zoroastrian religion then you belong to Minority Community.

If you are a Muslim by birth, you’ll belong to the Muslim minority community. However, to get the benefits you’ll require to provide your caste certificate.

Please check which religion your caste falls under and if your religion is in the Minority list then you belongs to minority community.
NO, scheduled caste (SC) doesn’t belong to religious minority community.
