Citrix XenApp Infrastructure Basic Concepts

Data Store:

1. DataBase storing XenApp FARM’s static configuration information such as
1. published applications,
2. users,
3. printers, and
4. servers
2. There will be a single data Store per Farm

Data Collector:

1. server that hosts an in-memory database that maintains dynamic information
   about the servers in the zone, such as
1. server loads,
2. session status,
3. published applications,
4. users connected, and
5. license usage.
