Pre-requisites: Requires Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 and Windows Workflow Foundation. If you have .NET4.0 which includes both these components so these prerequisites are not required.

Installation Instructions for base installation
- Installer: SharePoint Designer 2007SharePointDesigner.exe
- It extracts the files.
- Microsoft Software License Agreement, with a Continue Button, only clickable when we click on "I accept the terms of the agreement"
- In the “Choose the installation you want” screen, we click on “Install Now”.
- This goes directly to the installation screen, where it starts to install.
- Then it finishes off, Installation is complete, click close.
- By default, it goes to C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice12SPDESIGN.exe. and shows up as SPDESIGN.exe*32 in the Task Manager.
- The application shows up separately in the appwiz.cpl as Microsoft Office Sharepoint Designer 2007.
Installation instruction for SP2:
- You must accept the Microsoft Software License Terms in order to continue installation: The continue button is clickable after we check the Click here to accept the Microsoft Software License Terms.
- Runs the update Installation, Installation completes, and Click OK to close the pop-up.
- The version that shows up after the installation is 12.0.6423.1000
Customizations: Base installation is pre-packaged with SP1. SP2 should be included in the package in addition.
